We had such a great party last night and we hope that all the hundred-something dancers who were there had tons of fun! If you still need tickets to The Night After Halloween Dance Party, your last chance to get tickets at $10.00 would be tonight! We will be at University of Winnipeg Aux. Gym. in the basement of the Duckworth Centre selling tickets at 8:30 pm - 8:45 pm. You can also talk to Stephen Smyth at the Dance Hall to get tickets. We've sold quite a few already, so it should be a fun party!

Salsa Babies is a dance class that helps new moms get back in shape with the best little partners of all - their babies! With little ones snuggled into baby carriers, moms learn popular Latin dances while babies shake maraca rattles and bounce along to the Salsa beat!

For the first time in Winnipeg, Salsa Babies classes will be offered by Virage Dance Co. starting January 2009. Please contact us for more details!

Is it time for a new pair of shoes for you? At "The Night After Halloween" dance party, we will be raffling off a new pair of Soul Dancer USA shoes of your choice. Raffle tickets will only be $5 for 10 tickets or $10 for 25 tickets. If you plan to attend the party and don't have tickets yet, you can get tickets this Wednesday in class or contact any of our dancers. See you there!

Some of you might already know that Sergei and Natasha are expecting a baby in November. In spite of that, our Level I Salsa classes on Wednesday nights at 8 pm will still run as usual. The Level II classes at 7 pm will be postponed starting November 5th and we will resume this class in January 2009. The Level II classes will be replaced with Salsa practices from 9:00 pm to 11:00 pm every Wednesday for $5 per person. Any student attending the Level I class are more than welcome to stay to practice their moves at no extra cost.

Congratulations to the three couples who completed Salsa Level I last night! Now you can move up to Salsa Level II classes and make sure you keep practicing your moves. If anyone else is wondering how you know that you've completed your level, please refer to the Salsa Level I Passport or Salsa Level II Passport.
