We are very happy to introduce our recently launched Salsa Level I Passport - easy, convenient and unique way to keep track of your progress in our dance classes (so far offered exclusively by Virage Dance Company).

Do you know what Rueda de Casino is? It's Salsa that's done in a circle! There's a great example if this style in Gloria Estefan's music video: "No Me Dejes De Querer". You can view it here.

In November, we will be offering Rueda de Casino - Level II on Mondays from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm. You will need to register in advance for this class, and you need to register with a partner. The cost is $40 for the month per person.

Come and watch our performance group do a number at the Manitoba Dragon Boat Festival this Saturday, September 8, 2007 at 1:00 pm. We will be performing our "Save The Last Dance" routine at the amphitheatre at the Forks.

We would like to know what you think we can do to make our newsletters better. What would you like to see in them? How would you like them to be formatted? Any feedback would be much appreciated! Anyone who responds about the Silver Ball or newsletter will be entered for a chance to win a free pass for up to four people to one of our classes. We will announce the winner at the end of March.

Virage Dance Co. is opening up the chance for anyone to audition for our performance group. If you are interested in performing with us, the audition will be held on Sunday, December 3, 2006 at 10:00 pm. The Performing Class session will run every 5 months, starting January 2007.
